3D Pet Prints ("we," "us," or "our") operates 3dpetprints.com. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your personal information responsibly. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information when you visit our website, place an order, or upload content.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following types of personal information:

  • Identifiers: Name, shipping address, email address, phone number (if provided).
  • Commercial information: Order details, pet story (if you share one), payment information (processed securely via third parties; we do not store full card details).
  • Visual information: Uploaded pet photos or videos.
  • Internet or electronic network activity: IP address, browser type, and basic server logs from site visits (no tracking cookies or analytics identifiers).

We collect this directly from you during account creation, checkout, or uploads.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your personal information to:

  • Process and fulfill orders (including 3D printing and shipping).
  • Communicate about your order (confirmations, updates, support).
  • Provide customer service and handle disputes/returns.
  • Comply with legal obligations (e.g., tax records).
  • (With your explicit consent via our upload form) showcase or promote your pet photos on social media or our site.

We do not use your information for marketing unless you opt in separately.

3. Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell or share your personal information as defined under any privacy law. We disclose it only:

  • To service providers necessary for our operations: Stripe (payment processing), Shippo (shipping label purchase), USPS (shipping/delivery), Supabase (secure file storage).
  • As required by law, to protect our rights, or in business transfers.

These providers are contractually bound to use data only for the services they provide and to protect it.

4. Retention of Personal Information

We keep personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described or as required by law:

  • Order details (name, address, email, phone, payment confirmation, pet story): Retained for up to 7 years for tax, accounting, and legal compliance.
  • Uploaded pet photos/videos and related files: Deleted from Supabase storage and our local NAS within 30–90 days after order fulfillment (e.g., after shipping confirmation and return window), unless needed longer for disputes or your request.

You may request earlier deletion (see Section 7), except where we must retain for legal reasons.

5. Storage and Security

Uploaded files are stored on Supabase (using secure, UUID-based organization with access controls) and temporarily on our local NAS. We use reasonable safeguards (encryption where applicable, access restrictions) to protect against loss, unauthorized access, or disclosure. However, no system is 100% secure—avoid including sensitive details in uploads.

6. Cookies and Tracking

We do not use cookies for tracking, analytics, or advertising. Our hosting provider (Vercel) deploys no cookies or personal identifiers by default on our site. Basic server logs (e.g., IP for security) may be collected but are not used to profile you.

7. Your Rights and Choices

You may:

  • Request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information.
  • Withdraw consent for photo use (if previously given; already-posted content may remain under license terms).

To exercise these rights, email privacy@3dpetprints.com. We will verify your identity and respond within a reasonable time (typically 30–45 days). No financial incentives are offered.

For California residents: Although our small size means the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA) does not currently apply, we respect similar principles. We do not sell or share personal information.

8. Uploaded Content (Photos/Videos)

See our Terms of Service for details on licenses granted when uploading (e.g., rights for fulfillment and, with optional consent, social media/promotion). We require active checkboxes during upload for clear agreement—no pre-checked boxes.

9. Children's Privacy

Our site is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy. Changes will be posted here with the updated date.
